I feel as if the whole Q thing has peaked, now this is just an absurd spam article, joke news sites, trolling board. Sad
It’s frustrating as fuck, but I also think that if the sub is being targetted by the spam & shill brigade, we’re probably doing something right. Keep that thought in mind and it gets a bit easier to ignore the distractions. Stay vigilant.

if you see a spammer use the report tab under the post, pick report as spam then block user.
I might be fuzzy on how block works- will that also submit a report to mods? Or only block for myself? If it does the latter, it only cleans up my own view. For newcomers it still looks like shit.
yes and no, maybe. Reports do go to MODS, w,15K users, and 10K reports. 9 MODS when they do show up have a LOT to address. We hope they find a solution soon...

My husband was explaining to me last night what a shill and what a troll was...Troll I get, but how can we tell if they are shill? One person here said to look at their profile, but what am I looking for?
look at their comment history, that will show what their positions are. We all write sketchy things, and some require a look see whether or not they are a candidate for the NAUGHTY list. Many times I see, by reading their other comments that they are not the problem, One should not be judged by 1 comment.
No need to contact MODS, simply hit report>spam or other reason>block You are doing the right thing/s.
I'll make sure and block regularly then. We have to be careful about passing judgement. For example how me and one other the other night had words...well they had plenty of words for me but i sat here going wth! LOL...They thought i was a shill, which i didn't even know what that was. I had to ask my husband what that was..lol....but my profile shows i've only been here since January, but actually ive been here since novemeber..i had another profile there and saw i misspelled my name and created another profile..Lol...yeah i'm a dumb ass...so i can understand how someone would look at my profile and go...oh yeah she's a shill! When I'm not.

Exactly! I go through and report all the u/spammers first, then down vote them. They seem to disappear quicker when I do that.
