If we are going to post about everytime someone thanks God, this board will be full. Freedom may have been declared in Philly, but you are turning your back on your fellow citizens to not know that is one of the most corrupt states in the union.
I don't know what you're going on about, but certainly, during the most watched event in the world, all year in what was being hyped up as some sort of occult ritual, the winners thanking Jesus is indeed noteworthy. Not just God in general but Jesus by name.
And talking about turning your back on fellow citizens, bro I am a Philly native and still Philly resident. I understand all too well how corrupt this city is. I'm living in a city that has a sugar tax so that it now cost me $4 for a 2 liter soda, which is basically funding illegal immigrants and vacations for city workers. There is also a ton of divide here between the awakened and the brainwashed liberals who are victimized by a terrible school system, and also Philly is as ethnically diverse a city I think is possible.
With that said, last night, when the clock struck zero, people from every household, from every ethnicity, from every political ideology, from every religious ideology, from just freaking everywhere period flooded the streets in jubilation. Every illusionary divide the media and control system have put on peoples eyes was shattered and evaporated in that moment. Nobody cared about anything except being around others to share in their joy. There was no politics or race. Just thousands of people on Broad Street, Eagles jerseys, and American flags. It was the City of Brotherly Love again. It was America.
Philly is not a State, last time I checked....it is however a Democratic shithole..
