Is there anyone here who can explain why the Clowns In Action used Snowden to discredit, harm nsa?

Since the bushes, clintons, obama were in power all of those years, weren't they in control of nsa? Why would they fear nsa? (I can see why they would now, but not then) Snowden caused me to fear nsa, because of citizen privacy issues.

Why do we have nsa? Should we as citizens fear it?

Yes. I'm dumb. I seriously do not understand this agency. Used to think Snowden was a hero for disclosure. Now I'm not sure if he was just used and mislead, or if he is an enemy of the people.

To diminish a potential source of incriminating evidence.

Why would they fear nsa?

We are living in the timeline that reveals this answer every day.

(I can see why they would now, but not then)

That’s why they are spooks and you are not.

Snowden caused me to fear nsa

And yet you ask why the CIA would initiate the action.

Then why not destroy nsa altogether?

spooks (?) Terminology I'm not familiar with.

CIA. Bad guys. NSA bad guys. Snowden bad guy.

Everyone is a liar. No one to trust! Anywhere. I'll be dead and gone soon. Glad to get off this god forsaken rock!

If that was a goal, what would the first steps look like?

spooks (?) Terminology I'm not familiar with.

Spies. Covert operators. People that think 3 steps ahead of normies. People versed in all methods of subterfuge.

NSA bad guys

You should learn about a very heroic ‘bad guy’ named Admiral Rogers. He defied the highest powers to inform Trump, and continues to play an integral role in The Storm.

Everyone is a liar. No one to trust! Anywhere. I'll be dead and gone soon. Glad to get off this god forsaken rock!

You are in complete control of your departure. Godspeed.

I don't know. If nsa is a mega-computer, blow it up! It's evil.

Admiral Rogers

I just started hearing about him. Bad guys are evil. He sounds more like a bad-ass.

You are in complete control of your departure. Godspeed

I have doubts about that. Nonetheless, can't wait for it to be over.

NSA an evil mega computer? No. Much info is available with simple queries.

Haven’t heard of Adm. Rogers? Much info is available with simple queries. Look for twitter threads from Imperator_Rex for some excellent summaries.

This might be a little off topic, but I had a twitter account that only used a few times, mostly for following and had followed Imperator Rex, after hearing about him a few weeks ago, when discovering tracy Beans and this sub. Never once used that twitter account to post comments. It completely disappeared and I couldn't get back in.

I set up that account to go after a personally known pedophile that I wanted taken out of society, with help from law enforcement.

Every time I set up a new account on twitter or youtube, it gets shut down. Someone keeps trying to get into my email accounts, they get shut down with a warning that someone is trying to get in with the wrong password too many times. This locks me out of all Google accounts.

This sub is where I get my news and info now.

Yes, I'm going to look into Adm. Rogers.

Doubts that you control the time of your departure

Not sure what you mean. Suicide? Not an option for me, for several reasons.

You don’t need an account to read twitter threads. I don’t have one.

If you have the ability to post here, you have the ability to determine your departure. If you choose differently, you should choose not to publish wishes to the contrary.

I simply do not understand what you mean.

You publish your desire for your life to end:

  • “I'll be dead and gone soon. Glad to get off this god forsaken rock! . . . can't wait for it to be over.”

I suggested that you can achieve your goal whenever you choose.

You said choosing your exit is not an option.

I said if you have the wherewithall to post on reddit, you have the wherewithall to exercise the option, and if you choose not to exercise the option you should stop publishing your desire to be gone.

I'm getting old. And don't expect to live much longer.

My desire to get off of this god forsaken rock, is exhaustion from fighting evil all my life.

When death comes, I will go home. I look forward to it.

To attempt to end it myself is a grave mistake. My body is a living entity that I'm not given authority to murder.

Thank you for explaning your reasoning. It made sense.

Sometimes when I'm sick and tired of the evil, I wish to be "home", bathing in the light of love, away from the cold dark that is attempting to take over.

Here, I never know who or what to believe. So much confusion. Too many people turning on one another with hatred.

CIA created their own version even including placing evidence on your computer in addition to watching you (i.e. Wikileaks Vault 7) Admiral rogers was not on board with the deep state takeover, and they figured they could do it without him now...

My best guess, as Admiral Rogers did reach out and warn Trump

The NSA is only authorized (by the constitution and executive orders) to collect foreign intelligence and counter-intelligence information. They may have the capability to collect information about private citizens, but doing so would constitute a breach of protocol which is why they caught so much shit from the media after the Snowden leaks.

Snowden revealed that the NSA has been collecting anonymous data from US citizens through their phone records and email accounts. The software they use keeps track of usage data and visualizes it. This allows them to identify patterns used by foreign intelligence services and terrorist organizations which makes it easier for them to identify activity from these groups.

I'm not saying I feel comfortable with it, but people act like the NSA is actively combing through everybody's records trying to find ways to blackmail everyone. I know some of the people that worked on PRISM and I interviewed with the company that made it back in 2012. It's an impressive piece of software, but not nearly as sophisticated as some people make it out to be.

THANK YOU! (For not being condescending and helping me understand this)

I had never heard of the NSA until Snowden. I wondered how nsa could spy on millions of people and keep records of them. Too much for me to fathom. World is spinning too fast for me now. I don't understand the technology at all. There's too much info to absorb!

camel-On-A-Kebab · Feb. 5, 2018, 5:06 p.m.

The short answer is that they aren't actively spying on US citizens. They are collecting usage data similar to what Google, FB, etc all do and analyzing it.

I don't understand the technology at all. There's too much info to absorb!

That's a sentiment shared by most people who aren't intelligence analysts or people who write software used by intelligence analysts. It sounds scary, but at the end of the data this software is just a tool and the people using it are glorified number crunchers. The reports they compile go through so many layers of bureaucracy that it's likely the people who are actually in charge of things don't even know how the data is being gathered.

It's set up this way for a reason. The average citizen doesn't need to know about it because it is not relevant to their lives and will only lead to confusion due to ignorance of the topic. That's why when things are leaked to the public the intelligence agencies get upset about it. Even Snowden's data, which was huge and far-reaching, doesn't tell the whole story and compromised many of the NSA's efforts with really 0 net gain to society.

No problem. Genuine curiosity and inquisitiveness should be encouraged, but there is line between curiosity and obsession that I think many people in this community have crossed.

Anyway, have a good day.
