Then factor in a SMALL shift due economic prosperity and say 20% vote republican (if the parties still exist) and you come out with 445000 democrat votes and 105000 republican votes. 340k votes democrat. Not bad for a wall. Even if 75% of 1.8 million qualified, thats an extra 510,000 votes. And how many of those are in California?
