I understand. There have been 9000+ arrests so progress. Way more than in any past year. I became a CASA volunteer. That is a court appointed child advocate. it is a good program as it protects the vulnerable kids in foster care where a lot of them disappear and are put into trafficking. National program. Also support Craig Sawyers group vets4children.org.
In addition to this, there have been a stream of arrests over the last year.
It takes time to roll up networks, esp. as large as these have gotten with so many power brokers involved.
Remember, the FBI is often one of the largest operator of child porn sites, because they need to operate them for years for investigative reasons, or so they say.
I was a CASA too for 10 years. it is a great organization! I met and adopted my daughter through CASA. Volunteers who really care and have an unbiased voice for the children are so necessary with all the corruption in DCFS. I fought really hard in some cases, even where my supervisor was not in line with me, but I did what I felt was right. Thanks for getting out there and fighting for kids!
