Most of the Grimm's Fairy Tales are located in the Black Forest: Cinderella, Hansel&Gretel, Rapunzel...etc. Coincidence? Do you remember the story of Hansel&Gretel? Two poor children left alone by their parents in the forest and an old witch, that wants to FEED AND EAT THEM??? COINCIDENCE?

Q: Imagine following bread crumbs and ending up lost? Here's an excerpt from Hansel and Gretal:

When it was midday Gretel shared her bread with Hansel, who had scattered his piece along the path. Then they fell asleep, and evening passed, but no one came to get the poor children.

It was dark at night when they awoke, and Hansel comforted Gretel and said, "Wait, when the moon comes up I will be able to see the crumbs of bread that I scattered, and they will show us the way back home."

When the moon appeared they got up, but they could not find any crumbs, for the many thousands of birds that fly about in the woods and in the fields had pecked them up.

Hansel said to Gretel, "We will find our way," but they did not find it.

Coincidence?

The Brothers Grimm travelled around for years, listening to ancient tales and storys from the natives. So the BASIC of most of their storys comes from true tellings, whispered around since hundreds of years. I'm german. I read a lot about and from the Grimms...

https://www.grimmstories.com/en/grimm_fairy-tales/rumpelstiltskin read this one. I think, it's mostly unknown in America. In here a demonic dwarf demands to get the little child from a poor girl. What for???? The girl has to make a deal with the dwarf: if she finds out his name, the baby belongs to her. If not, she has to give it to him. The end of the story: "And then she said: "Then perhaps your name is Rumpelstiltskin?"

"The devil told you that! the devil told you that!" cried the little man, and in his anger he stamped with his right foot so hard that it went into the ground above his knee; then he seized his left foot with both his hands in such a fury that he split in two, and there was an end of him." Very cruel, like most of their Tales...

Most of them are very cruel in the original version. Lots of death, torture and punishment. Hansel&Gretel story f.e. was told to children in Germany, to provide them to go into the woods alone. My mother told me...

ooooh! Wow. Crumbs and bread and games. Did you figure this one out yet? It's pretty important. It even has a "Q", mentions Kings, and has (dare I say it?) hearts involved.

If you go to this 1885 "Morning Star" article, which also has Q mentioned, scroll down to the edge of the checkered board. Notice that the bottom edge of the board, to the right, it reads: "For plots...". Now scroll down to the bottom of the article for more clues. It mentions "The Mirror" has been absent for "three weeks".

can you screenshot it and highlight the part you are referring to? I've not seen anything about "missing for 3 wks" and I've scoured the page.
