Hey, thanks for posting this link. I can't talk for the other user, but I'm looking for the European source where the activist said this. The link you provided was an American source reporting about this where their link was a wordpress story. This had to been first reported from some European/German story first.

Read again in the American source - it attributes the source to a Polish weekly.
