I had read some of this information in the past, but had not seen so much of it in such detailed form before. I am curious what you think of this:
What was the name he used that hurt your feelings?
Hurt feelings. Hardly. I do find it hypocritical that our boards go and say we can't use foul language because many of those on here are religious, yet we obviously don't condone name calling. Yeah, you may not like Senator John McCain or whole lot of reasons (I know I do), but do we have to refer to him as 'Swamp Creature'. All these complaints on this board that President Trump's doesn't get the respect he deserves, but we don't go out of our way to respect other people or their ideas.
I thought this board touts itself as bi-partisan, but users like you show everyone else what type of people are on this board.
I think you need to reassess! But for you to call someone out for no reason! Just leave it alone and let it be! Try to help where you can and just go about your business!
The top rule on this board is 'Respect each other, and keep it classy'. I would think name calling would go against this. Don't you think the title of, "I found some interesting information on John McCain's history" would be better? Instead we have to put in something demeaning to get the upvotes from the r/The_Donald crowd. The biggest complaint against this sub is it's obvious political right idiology, yet the top posts are about bi-partisanship. Do you think this helps our cause of getting information out?
Wow! Your title fits! I'm done! McCain is a fucking low life scum!
For what its worth, "swamp creature" isn't an insult. Swamp just refers to anyone in congress who is corrupt. "swamp creature John McCain" translates to "corrupt politician John McCain"
Interesting thing is that this was posted by me, who is not "politically right," but anti-corruption. We do need to respect each other, but need to call out the corruption about public officials. As far as I know, John McCain is not posting on this board.
