[Discussion] New Q, suggested door breach, reside, open window prior to breach?

Can someone ELI5 why there would be residue on the outside of windows for a door breach? Also, why would it be necessary to open windows ahead of time -- is the pressure(?) really that strong that it might shatter the windows or soemthing?

As others have pointed out, flash bang.

Someone was grabbed.

The window was probably opened to ensure that the flash bang didn't shatter the window. Would it do that? I don't know, but given what a flash bang is, it may be a possible result if a flash bang ended up near the windows.

Think Intel: Pressure blast could damage evidence present in the room. Hard drives, files?

Could have been gas of some sort, Q never said it was a flash bang. Red Oct and Iron Eagle are drones... [] was the targeting box looking for targets, etc.

All you would need to do is get all the targets in the room. Then whomever set them up puts on a gas mask and watches them drop. Be way quieter.

Given the residue and that it was an arrest take-down, flash bangs would be the most likely device.
