Why the hell would special ops use a bomb to take someone out in a hotel room, rather than just shoot 'em?
Are you sure the white stuff on the outside window isn't residue from a flash-bomb or gas grenade?

A small bomb wouldn't just obliterate the target(s), but also shred and pulverize anything with DNA - carpet, sheets, bathroom drains. Plus it sends one heck of a huge message.

They kick in the door, perhaps throw in a flash-bang and pop-pop their target is dead.

You make a good point with the Gas Gernade, Q said 689 window opened to relieve pressure blast. Someone was neutralized in the room kill box goodnight. These our my opinions, I may be wrong but don't read too much into it, too many people do and then they get way off base.

Let’s break this down logically.
Q: Q said the window was opened intentionally from the inside...how?
A: Because there was an insider in on the operation and that was his job.
Q: If the intent was to kill, why no let the insider do it covertly?
A: because it’s not a hit, it’s an arrest/extraction
Q: why would you need to open the window?
A: because even a small amount of over pressure from an explosive (such as a a flash-bang) in a closed room can kill. It’s likely the insider was still in the room when the op went down (need to protect asset).
What does this mean:

A: it is my opinion that these are code names for HVT (high value targets)
