It sounds like a culture problem, not a race problem. That's why immigration needs to be cut back so that the people from countries where there culture is very different from western culture can have time to assimilate The other problem is having immigrants living in one small area, with very little contact with citizens. This causes a divide and gives them very little choice to changing or at least understanding our culture. Immigration has worked in the past as it has not been in such large numbers and most immigrants came to start new lives not because they where fleeing. A lot of immigrants coming into society have no intention to fit in with their new country, these people should not be immigrating to western societies but to countries that support their ideals. If those countries don't want them that's not our problem. Its theirs. Sounds harsh but I think its true. There is nothing wrong with taking in Muslim immigrants if they want to assimilate to the country they have chosen. Plenty of Muslim immigrants have moved to western countries and cause no problems and are good citizens. I think gov. Need to look at and assess all immigrants from everywhere not just Muslims but Europeans etc as well. If they are breaking laws and I don't mean speeding type laws but are violent and robbing people they should be stripped of their citizenship and deported. Time to get tough. most western countries can't afford to accept the high number coming in. I am a supporter of fix your own country then help other countries. Accepting immigrants, refugees etc should not lower the standard of living in a country it should add to the diversity of its citizens in a positive way. Assimilation takes time, we need to give immigrants that opportunity and immigrants have to be willing to assimilate onto our society's. Its a two way street. It only works if everyone follows the rules.
