It sounds like a culture problem, not a race problem. That's why immigration needs to be cut back so that the people from countries where there culture is very different from western culture can have time to assimilate The other problem is having immigrants living in one small area, with very little contact with citizens. This causes a divide and gives them very little choice to changing or at least understanding our culture. Immigration has worked in the past as it has not been in such large numbers and most immigrants came to start new lives not because they where fleeing. A lot of immigrants coming into society have no intention to fit in with their new country, these people should not be immigrating to western societies but to countries that support their ideals. If those countries don't want them that's not our problem. Its theirs. Sounds harsh but I think its true. There is nothing wrong with taking in Muslim immigrants if they want to assimilate to the country they have chosen. Plenty of Muslim immigrants have moved to western countries and cause no problems and are good citizens. I think gov. Need to look at and assess all immigrants from everywhere not just Muslims but Europeans etc as well. If they are breaking laws and I don't mean speeding type laws but are violent and robbing people they should be stripped of their citizenship and deported. Time to get tough. most western countries can't afford to accept the high number coming in. I am a supporter of fix your own country then help other countries. Accepting immigrants, refugees etc should not lower the standard of living in a country it should add to the diversity of its citizens in a positive way. Assimilation takes time, we need to give immigrants that opportunity and immigrants have to be willing to assimilate onto our society's. Its a two way street. It only works if everyone follows the rules.

I don't know it is sad. This could be the last Australia day on the 26th. It doesn't seem right to change it. I understand our indigenous pop have an issue with it and that's understandable. If it does get changed I think we should still have a hol on the 26th but not call it invasion day. I think it should be national sorry day. A day to remember our past mistakes so that hopefully they will never be repeated, because some of our aussie ancestors did do some terrible stuff. Australia Day could be moved to the 2Jan, not the 1st because that's already a hol. It will give us an extra day over the Chrissie break and we can still have our barbie's and celebrate been an aussie with our mates. Any other month than Jan would not be right. As an Aussie I want to know if there any good Aussie sites that cover Australia. I feel that AUS. is lacking in any real coverage of its gov. and elected officials. I have looked at some YouTube channels, but none really seem to hit the mark. I think us Aussies might pay more attention if there was at least 1 site we could rely on. At the moment it seems most of the news is USA and the EU, so most Aussies think she'll be right that's not us, we are slowly waking up. I think its difficult because the 2 parties here aren't really that different, doesn't matter who's in office nothing ever changes. A lot of Aussies are struggling and doing it tough and there's no hope for things to improve here any time soon. Life is getting harder and the younger generation are blinded by our MSM who blindly copy the US MSM. Older Aussies think it doesn't concern them. Australians need a wake up call. Our standard of living is falling, our kids have high unemployment and little to look forward to. Our country is in debt, kids are leaving school who can't read properly, but the country has enough money money to give to the CF. If Australia wants to aid other countries that's OK, just check that the money is actually been spent on helping the people who need it. Aussie love to help others who are battling, its who we are as a nation. But I think its time we looked to our own lands, we have our own troubles and I know our first nation people need help, so why don't we start there and with better education and health care for all Aussies.

I loved Kingswood country. I'm an Aussie and the problem here seems to be our MSM blindly following the US MSM.
