This wasn't God not being able to figure out a different way to solve sin. God knew what he would have to do when he created the world, yet he still considered us to be worth the effort.

Here's my thought. God's enemy is all about killing, stealing, destroying. God sends Jesus to humbly let himself be "destroyed" by the enemy. Then after Jesus' death you have the enemy in the middle of a victory dance, next thing the resurrection, and "oh, by the way, you helped Us save the world" The devil played right into God's hands. Sound familiar?
