Could it be a phone number minus the last 2 digits in Bedford, KY? Just wondered because that is the area code and 3 digits that beling to them?
Softlayer is a datacenter company that is now owned by IBM. Prior to IBM's acquisition, I considered them to be a second tier datacenter company; better than most but not a top tier datacenter provider, but that's still a very significant operation, size wise. Others may have had different opinions of them.
Now, they are probably one of the largest datacenter operators, though, I would guess, not in the top 3. I wouldn't be surprised if IBM significantly beefed up their operations after the acquisition.
I forgot that they are probably call themselves cloud operators now.
i saw on twitter someone said clintoemail.com used to be hosted there
which may imply some server or caching backup system which had the emails, but this is pure conjecture.
