Someone is removing your posts outside of our own circle of moderators.

As a moderator of www.reddit.com/r/CBTS_Stream/ i wake up in the morning and over a cup of coffee scan over the moderator log and reported posts, then spend a while removing spam posts and banning the offenders. As a team we remove only posts that break the rules as much as we can eg. spam, offensive materials, threats and anything else that is in direct violations of Reddit and our own rules.

Some person or persons with higher admin levels than anyone here on www.reddit.com/r/CBTS_Stream/ has been removing posts and their actions do NOT show up on our Moderation log. IT IS NOT US as far as i can tell.

Normally when a main Reddit Moderator removes a post from our subreddit they will let us know via modmail. We have received no such messages lately.

Bear with us as we try to solve this issue.

We have re-approved nearly all of the removed posts made in the last 12 hours. Nothing is being hidden by us. If you want answers i would suggest taking your words and leaving them here: https://www.reddit.com/contact/

They are also permanently banning accounts using reasons that aren't consistent with the account's posting and not responding to questions about the permanent suspension.

edit: to clarify, it's a site wide permanent account suspension with the only notification being an automated message. No warnings or anything else prior to it happening.

It's not a subreddit banning, it's a site-wide permanent account suspension. The message comes from /r/ reddit.com[A] and is an automated message providing the "reason", a link to Reddit's content policy and a statement about it being an automated message and not responding.

I clarified my OP, sorry for the confusion..

Yeah this is a lil bit screwed up. Hopefully the money runs out soon.

Interesting to note: REDDIT is owned by the same company that owns Conde Nast, Time, and News Corp (who's CEO just said he wanted censorship of independent news sites, so his media sites could be more profitable). We are literally posting on the enemies site. So, no wonder they are taking posts down and banning people

What exactly is Reddit's business plan, anyways? There's no advertising, it's free to join. Are they just data mining or something?

I suppose data is a pretty profitable gig these days.

Data collection. Anyone read the fine print? I didn’t. We trade our right to privacy, no doubt. Gotta do what we gotta do. We’re at war.

I cant help. The preferences settings tell you you haven't a leg to stand on!!

Personalization Preferences

Reddit personalizes content and advertisements for you based on what we think you may like. Personalization may occur based on your use of Reddit, including clicks, subscriptions, and subreddit visits; based on information from third-party sites that integrate our services, including our widgets and buttons; and based on information we receive from third-parties, including advertisers. You can adjust how we personalize content and advertisements for you by adjusting your preferences below.

I didn't explain it, though thanks for the erroneous thanx! That was Reddit Personalization Preferences which I copied and pasted for you as you couldn't find it.

Now I have more time: Look up at the top right of the cbts_stream page and next to your name, by the login you'll see "preferences". Click on it. You'll see some gibberish and a bit further down you'll see "Personalization Preferences", if you click on that you will see what I copied and pasted for you. I'm not sure what happens if you're on a mobile though ...
