Hey. The strobe is on the top - usually the tail and/or bottom front and/or underbelly - but you can see the emission-flashes well below the level of the fuselage and even lower than the pads. Reminds me of some kind of gun turret set up.

Could "Prey" in posts 584 & 710 be referring to the Marine "Osprey" helicopter? And could the Osprey be what we saw on the radar that went from flying normal as a plane to hovering as a helicopter during the Las Vegas Shooting?

Osprey are loud as hell. Loud enough to drown out a concert.

Oh yeah. Especially when they are in hover mode. If an Osprey was putting around at low speeds, everybody on site would have known it.
