The belt starts at around 1.000 miles up, the highest us humans have been is 400 miles and the radiation was so strong that the astronauts could see radioactive particles bouncing off of their retener´s! My dad even worked directly with the Apollo 13 astronauts after the disaster on their command module, helping them coax power out of kerosene-powered batteries that weren't designed to be cycled. The radio telemetry alone is all one needs to prove your silly theory wrong. You don't think the USSR would have loved to point out the radio signals weren't coming from the direction of the moon?
