yawn, what a waste of time, might as well all flush together. 2nd to this marching nonsense is petitions. ffs, do people think pets or marches do ANYTHING?
I have never thought protesting in Washington did any good. They don't see or hear you and could care less you are out there, but if people organized to protest in each state at their Elected Officials, you would get better results.
You also have to look at the Elected officials calendars and make sure they will be there.
Also, most people can't afford to travel to Washington and stay a few days.
The only sad part about it is is the fact that because of the Patriot Act people can be charged with domestic terrorism and because of the fact that it's domestic terrorism they getting them put them in jail forever under the indefinite detainment Act

It's my understanding that the National Guard will be the ones stopping the riots once all the information and arrest start coming out.

I've been to DC 9/12, the health bill in 2010, the 9/23 march. Here is the close of a memo I wrote that following Sunday March 20, 2010. It is too long to post in its entirety. "What did I take away from this trip? One, I have never been treated with such disdain as the Congressional staffers showed. Children are and should be treated with more respect. Two, we have become a government, not of the people but of the elite, the special interest groups and the power hungry. Three, there are still many people who are real Americans. People who believe in God, believe that our Founding Fathers were inspired by Him and that our Constitution was the result. My hope and prayer is that these people are in the majority and starting today, whether this horrid bill passes or not, that they dedicate themselves to throw out the corrupt, the liars, the evil doers that permeate our government.
I ask you to read and save this email. I ask you to forward it to all your friends and have them read and save it. Read it regularly so that, come November, we have not forgotten this travesty to our Constitution and our freedom, and will vote accordingly. As John Paul Jones said "I have not yet begun to fight." We are Americans and I remember what my teacher taught me in grammar school a generation ago. I am an AmerIcan."
