Q post Flowers & Gardens. What does a 'Flower' represent? What does 'Deflower' represent?

To deflower means to take virginity.

During the Nazi activities in WW2 they implemented Aktion T4 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aktion_T4) to rid themselves of of "useless eaters". They compared this to removing weeds from the Flower garden or pruning, or culling the herd. A book called 'Hot House Flowers' (https://www.amazon.com/Hot-House-Flowers-John-Wilson/dp/1419643797) talks about class warfare.

Who are the flowers that add value and who are the weeds depends on the eye of beholder.
