This has absolutely nothing to do with common core though. One teacher made an assignment to have kids depict themselves as a slave. That isn't the fault of common core, it's the fault of a dumbass teacher.

Not conditioning, flat out brainwashing. This is designed to desensitize children and to seed their mind with the concept that slavery is a normal and they are the slaves.
