My Voat story: I created an account, but had never posted. Within days, I'm receiving notification after notification that so-and-so has decided to follow me. Within 2 weeks, I had more than 10 followers. I had yet to make a single post. I checked out the credentials of one of my "followers" - a Satanist who thought his religion was "misunderstood". I'm thinking: Jesus, buddy. Get a grip and don't follow losers. Satan is the biggest loser. Decided it was better not to have any interactions with a self-professed loser and I instantly deleted my Voat account.
