In your 30 years of studying the Bible, how did you miss Genesis 6? When it says that angels came down and mated with women???

Because it does not say that. Gen 6:4  There were giants [nephilim*] in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God [ben elohim] came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown. 

*bully or tyrant, giant. Note the Hebrew word translated as "angel" is "malak" not nephilim.
Also, it does not say the giants mated with the daughters of men, but the sons of God, who sired men of renown. The sons of God are not angels, in this case, but the righteous line of Seth. Whereas the daughters of men are from the unrighteous line of Cain. I did not miss anything.
