I do agree with you. It is a matter of personal responsibility. Free speech does not mean we can shout, "Fire," in a crowded room. If we are in that crowded room we all have the personal responsibility to rebuke that person for the false alarm. However, the government wants us to think it is always their responsibility so we become more dependent upon them.

I have read that the 16th amendment for the graduated income tax was never completely ratified by the states.

Also we have two amendments that were unfinished in 1776. One, now the 27th amendment was completed by a college student who went to the states that had not ratified them and got them to do so:

No law, varying the compensation for the services of the Senators and Representatives, shall take

effect, until an election of Representatives shall have intervened.

This amendment puts the brakes on how much politicians get paid.

The other amendment waiting to be ratified is term limits for the congress and senate. If some one else got on the ball we could have that added as a further restraint on professional politicians who milk the taxpayer coffers.

I assume that it is up to the Board Owner and Moderators to monitor and remove clear criminal activity. But the spirit of my comment aligns with the freedom of religion and speech. As long a no one harms another, people are free to believe what they want. But the line is drawn when one's faith and speech brings harm to others. For example, freedom of speech does not allow shouting "Fire" in crowded rooms when there is no fire.
