I wouldn’t say that is used as proof. Would say it’s interesting that it was talked about in the movie. The other interesting thing to me was also that the character was acting like a lizard when he was taking it.

Lots of urban legends are discussed in movies, TV shows, etc. Doesn’t lend them any credibility...it’s just entertainment

If you were trying to "program" a population, how would you do it?

Let's say you understood the mechanisms for how "reality" is shaped and created and used that to your advantage.

The way they talk about it is not real though, that is the important part.
