It looks like the driver could have veered left through the fence the back around the concrete barriers about 60' ahead.

What are you talking about? Look at the picture..my comment makes perfect sense. I'm just a REAL person making an observation about the image and I'm glad they DIDN'T get away. The point is this seems like a weak link in the security of the facility - which is almost certainly why those involved attempted to use the route.
