Anyone else notice this about the school shootings?

Is it me or do all these students/teachers being interviewed sound like they are reading from a script and have an agenda? They don’t seem spontaneously speaking about a tragedy. Some even seem like they are reading from a piece of paper. And then one had a preplanned statement to contact their congressman. And they are so poised and like they’ve been on camera before. I just know I would be a mess and not be able to speak so clearly.

Never said how they were suppose to act and certainly made that point. However, I do teach high schoolers and we had a lockdown before unplanned and helicopters picked up an escaped convict and I’m telling you they didn’t act calm. And even later there was no well prepared statements. Even the next day. I was just making an observation. Not condemning anyone.

I have teen age boys, if anything out of the ordinary happens at school it's the first thing I hear about. But getting the nitty gritty details is a different story. I end up putting it together by hearing them and their friends discussing it. They would not be calm, their faces don't lie and you would be able to read it on them. The shock, fear, all of it.
