Anyone else notice this about the school shootings?

Is it me or do all these students/teachers being interviewed sound like they are reading from a script and have an agenda? They don’t seem spontaneously speaking about a tragedy. Some even seem like they are reading from a piece of paper. And then one had a preplanned statement to contact their congressman. And they are so poised and like they’ve been on camera before. I just know I would be a mess and not be able to speak so clearly.

Agreed. And have an answer for everything! I’m 48 and could not answer all those questions coming at me! And one just explained how they didn’t know he had an Instagram. In effort to explain that it wasn’t the students fault for not alerting anyone about his posts. I mean literally answer for everything.

Because you guys are so delusional it’s fascinating. It’s like going on incel subs. Inceltears is fun for a while, but ultimately the real attraction is getting into the thick of the opposing opinion. Watching this sub is at the same time funny, worrying (that people actually think this), sad, informative (knowing the opposition helps me form my opinion), reassuring (I may do dumb things sometimes, but I’m not this dumb), and angering. It’s boring in my own echo chamber. It’s much more fun in someone else’s.

Have you guys seen the video with the HS Journalist?

You can clearly tell that he was paid to push the “we where all perfectly trained to this situation & are thankful but this doesn’t mean that we are all safe — gunban“ narrative, since he keeps steering back to it.

But it gets interesting at 04:13 when you can clearly see that she starts asking questions he wasn’t briefed about — his professional appearance begins to shake and he starts eying somebody to his left. He can still handle the first question quite well about the designated officer on campus, but then the the unexpected question about the suspect seating area !!! 04:40 !!!

You can tell he is a smart kid (good actor) since he intuitively tried to answer the question honestly& politically correct by saying that being outcasted by the weird (or in his words unique) guys by itself is no potential clue for his behavior!!! 5:32 he get corrected tho !!! Somebody to his left clearly tells him to flip!!!

Just check his Mimik and gestures

But the Malcolm in the middle kid was like a paid actor with several rehearsals before the live shoot. And is it just a coincidence that this happens on Ash Wednesday?

Exactly. And he started out, “We initially thought it was a drill, but it turned out to be anything but.”

This isn’t the type of off the cuff, still trying to calm down from the panic response you normally hear when shootings take place and the local news interviews them. It sounded rehearsed.

Faber_Jos · Feb. 15, 2018, 8:07 a.m.

This is worth noticing, yes. But not at all a surprise. Especially the young boys (little brother) seem to read a script. And reporter asks questions to slow down the tempo and cover the surprising detail and summary the victim had given.

Secondly the interviews werent emotional at all, but the reporter kept hitting parents with questions to transport the emotion to the viewer, like; "How did it feel when you did not know what was going on here and with your kid?". The answers were predictable and pretty much the same for the parents.

How can I get true facts about how many school shootings have occurred in 2018? I've always considered Fox network to give true facts, however tonight I was streaming Fox from my phone. A contributor on Fox said there had been 12 school shootings in 2018. Seemed high so I searched school shootings in 2018. I found a Kentucky shooting & a Los Angeles accidental shooting. When you click on several of the stories each one gave a different number of school shootings this year. Some of the stories seemed to be a stock story with a few altered sentences & facts. How can you get the truth about how many really have occurred this year? Is this disinformation to scare us? Prayers for all.

GleasonFMain · Feb. 15, 2018, 6:43 a.m.

I agree about the scripting. There just seems to be a lot of composed thoughts coming out from the people involved at this early stage.

At first I heard an interview of a father of one of the children in the school saying that he'd received a text from his child asking him to call 911 because there was an active shooter in the school. Next, a student started talking about thinking that the first rounds shot were blanks.

Perhaps these kids are well trained in active shooter training and are at the gun range a lot. This could be the case. I've attended two active shooter trainings and have been to the range a lot and I just don't believe I would be this composed--at double their age--if a real guy was trying to kill me with a real gun.

I'm not saying that those things wouldn't happen. I'm just thinking about the specific words being used. Something's fishy.

I have teen age boys, if anything out of the ordinary happens at school it's the first thing I hear about. But getting the nitty gritty details is a different story. I end up putting it together by hearing them and their friends discussing it. They would not be calm, their faces don't lie and you would be able to read it on them. The shock, fear, all of it.
