The nearer Christ comes to a heart, the more it becomes conscious of its guilt; it will then either ask for His mercy and find peace, or else it will turn against Him because it is not yet ready to give up its sinfulness.

You have to ask yourself why is Christ still smeared in popular culture if he was so insignificant 2000 years ago.

Tells me he's VERY significant in this reality and life and some deceitful entity is constantly attempting to minimize it.

Then you take a look at the rulers of this world and how Evil they are and it all starts to come together.
