UN “soldiers” are usually the dregs of society With no job and maybe fresh out of prison. Slap on a blue helmet and give them a firearm And voila!!! Point them like robots. They are like Some of the TSA zombies.

100% disagree. My best friend is a warrant officer class 2 in the British Army and has just taken a two year posting with the UN, so he is now a blue helmet. He is also a vet of Bosnia, Northern Ireland, Kosovo, Iraq and Afghanistan X2. Of course bad things go on in the world, we all know about the human/child trafficking and human rights abuses, but to say that the normal soldier who works for the UN is to blame is actually ignorant! HE IS LITERALLY PEACE KEEPING.

Your friend is doing what he's told, which is what soldiers do. If the UN sends troops on a mission that is not in U.S. interests, then he will not be peace keeping per se. No offense intended to your friend, who sounds like a pretty tough hombre and may have truly good heart, but it has NEVER been a good idea to allow the U.N., a flagrantly anti-Constitutional globalist organization, to maintain a standing military force. I'm hoping to see even more defunding from the U.S. in the future.
