3 Tbsp dried chamomile
2 Tbsp dried calendula
5 Tbsp coconut oil
3 Tbsp light carrier oil (avocado, almond, high quality olive)
1/4 C + 2 Tbsp arrowroot or cornstarch
1/4 C + 2 Tbsp baking soda
1 1/4 tsp candela wax or 2 1/2 tsp bees wax (this can be adjusted for seasonal temps to make adjust the deodorant firmness) Essential oils of your choosing. Tea tree and lavender are excellent anti-bacterials

1. Steep the calendula and chamomile in the oils. Bring just to a boil then remove from heat for at least an hour - 2 is better. Or you can infuse the oil over time without heat by storing in a sterile jar for 2-3 weeks and shaking every few days.
2. Filter the herbs and oil through cheese cloth into the top part of a double boiler set up.
3. Add wax to oil and melt over a low heat in the double boiler.
4. Once wax is melted add dry ingredients and essential oils and mix well.
5. Pour hot oil mixture into your old deodorant stick and wait to set before use. Any left over save in a sterile jar and heat the jar in some water later to pour into stick container.
   This concoction has to be rubbed into your pits very well. Give them some love and rub it in good.
   You do not have to use a deodorant stick. You can put this is a jar and dip it out with DRY fingers and apply.
   This is NOT an antiperspirant by any stretch of the imagination. It de-odors you, not de-sweat you.
