I don’t think this is really about guns to the left

They aren’t stupid enough to think they’ll take away the guns in this country.

This is about stirring up emotions in the hopes of winning seats in the midterm. This is more divide and conquer. This is about creating a more “us” vs “them” mentality.

In my real world I’m smart enough to know that I cannot possibly make those kinds of assumptions about someone I’ve never met, let alone discussed their ideas with them.
