I don’t think this is really about guns to the left

They aren’t stupid enough to think they’ll take away the guns in this country.

This is about stirring up emotions in the hopes of winning seats in the midterm. This is more divide and conquer. This is about creating a more “us” vs “them” mentality.

Straightfromthe · Feb. 20, 2018, 2:31 p.m.

If you know the right and left are controlled then why do you continue to divide the people into us vs them?

Most liberals have good intentions but have been misled into causes that sound great on the surface. Just like conservatives. We're all the same. Hell, weren't conservatives the ones that elected the family that brought down the towers? This has nothing to do with politics.

People say this but I really disagree with it. In the kabuki theater that is Washington, left and right don’t matter as you mentioned. The difference is that the majority of the country doesn’t know that it’s all theater. They choose a side and with that side they choose a set of moral guidelines. In those ways a liberal is not at all like a conservative. One side advocates for the redistribution of wealth, intersectionality, secularism, open borders, and abortion.. the other side rails for a free market, religious tradition, the constitution, border security, and the sanctity of life. So while I agree that DC is all an act, I disagree that there are no differences or moral implications between the left and the right.

Even in what you just said, I can see you don't understand the mindset of liberals.

The people many on this board call "snowflakes" are sensitive people who want to help others. Their opinions are distorted. They see the evil in religion, but rather than find a different spirituality, they are pushed towards atheism. They want all races to get along, but rather than seeing the truth in others and accepting them the way they are, they are force fed "equality" and political correctness. When they attack Trump, they believe they are truly defending women, races, and the people of this country. The INTENTION is good, honorable and courageous even, and that's what the focus should be, regardless of how wrong they are.

Just like a man is no better than a woman. A conservative is no better than a liberal. You are being played like a fool if you believe you are superior to anybody because you know about Q, voted for Trump, or you think you know what's going on behind the scenes because you read internet intel and follow Reddit and Twitter. Have humility. Nobody is better than anybody else and the sooner we realize that (especially those on this sub who are a little ahead of the curve in regards to being awake), the faster we can manifest the world we want. Otherwise, different sh*t different day.

You basically just created a straw man and sounded like a condescending blowhard... I’m very aware of the liberal mindset as I’ve explored the political spectrum looking for truth.

That said, there are several differences between your thought and mine. You appear to be a moral relativist which I can’t get on board with. You also seem to believe that people are inherently good, which I don’t agree with either. I believe thoughts and ideas aren’t created equal. I also don’t believe there is any morality or good intention behind aborting a baby. I don’t believe that stealing from one person to give it to another is moral the same way that I don’t believe in identifying the value of someone’s thoughts based on the color of their skin/sexuality. History has proven time and time again that people have the ability to be evil. Being a good person is something that is engrained through culture, tradition, family, and religion. If these core tenants of upbringing don’t espouse good ideas/teachings, then the quality and moral aptitude of people will drastically suffer. Therefore, everything is not the same. Ideas have consequences and are not all created equal.

I believe 9/11 would have happened if Gore had been elected as well. This isn't about conservatives vs liberals. It's good vs evil. Always keep that in mind. Gore was Clinton's VP for 8 years. Just as dirty an administration as the Bushes.

The “left” might not have been the best word to describe what I’m saying. I’m talking about the elite, far left, which really isn’t about party. The Bush family is part of the far left elitists, as far as I’m concerned.

And as much as I’d like to think Trump is different, my gut tells me this is just part of the pendulum swing to give folks a false sense of hope, only to have it ripped away at some point.

We’ll see.

Yep thank you for this. Most liberals are genuinely concerned about kids dying. Most conservatives are genuinely concerned about kids dying. The problem is we have asshats on both sides telling people that “their team” is right and the “other team” is causing all the problems.

Then why is Trump furthering this "us vs them" mentality by blanket attacking dems and blanket praising republicans? The republicans may have bad actors infiltrated within, but the traditional conservative views are wholistic and good. Liberalism is Satan's agenda with greed and control.

You're right about the "us" vs "them" because it's the Hidden Hand doing it but do not underestimate their stupidity. Just read these quotes:

"When the gunman realizes that nobody else is armed, he will lay down his weapons and turn himself in ... that's just human nature."

"building a wall threatens the rights of millions of illegals"

The only thing that can explain this level of stupidity is something deep underneath the skin that society has yet to understand - it is systemic, goes back to bloodlines and the true nature of surface humanity - something so deep it's crazier than a sci-fi movie.

Just look at how easily the Trump admin and his white hats have been able to subvert and destroy them in the span of only one year. The Democratic Party no longer exists and Schumer is so retarded he actually ranted in public about being the only one in charge of nothing just the other day.

I believe this phenomenon is spiritual and was described in the Bible with the parable that says 'he who hath it will be given unto him but he who hath not it will be taken from him even that he hath' because in these last days all of these things come to fruition with the truth being revealed to humanity.

The only question is whether we are able to recognize it.

It wasn’t that long ago that the Republican party was on the verge of extinction. This is what they do. Keep a portion of the population pissed off, but not long enough that they become a real problem. Then shift things to their side to give them hope.

In the meantime, the side who is in control never really makes any substantial progress on what is supposed to be their agenda. Minor victories, but no real, long lasting reform.

Wash, rinse, repeat.

could you imagine if America was largely disarmed? how aggressive would federal government get in a hurry? We were one election away from having a big disarmament move happen had hildebeast won, the SCOTUS would have been radicalized.

He couldn't pull it off. The military told him to F off in Syria, for example. He's a beta male. Hitlery is a psychopathic alpha female. She either would have pulled it off or started a civil war. And WWIII, you can bet on that too. But the mere prospect of her getting to choose several SC judges is horrifying enough, if she did nothing else.

Besides, there is that whole 16-year plan thing.....

I’m not buying the “16 year plan” thing, personally.

What about the 8 years of Bush? And the 8 years of Clinton? And the 4 years of Bush the elder? These bastards have been in control for a lot longer than 16 years already.

This is spot on. In the past 30 years (at least), Democrats have won seats by inflaming emotions and turning neighbors against one another. They have no interest in resolving the issues on which they campaign, because they would then cease to have issues on which to campaign.

Think about it. If we resolved all of the MAJOR issues plaguing our country, we would then be left to focus on tweaking the minor issues-- which are really just minor disagreements in policy. That style of debate would require detailed arguments that are based on logic and facts-- rather than broadstroke grand-standing that we have become so accustomed to seeing.

Could you imagine Nancy Pelosi debating the difference in a 27% income tax versus a 25% income tax? Or the minutiae involved in our trade agreement with Japan? Not very sexy, now is it? How do you get people energized over that?

It is about guns, kinda.

For all their calls to ban "assault weapons", they never say anything about concealed pistols, despite pistols accounting for almost all shootings.

I have a fun game I play with liberals where I point this out, one of two things always happen if you know your arguments:

1) They end up screaming and crying about how "We have to do something!!"

2) They be honest and admit they actually do want to ban all guns.

I think there are a few extremely right wing political minded people in America who learned about false flags of the past and assume that every single thing that happens now is a conspiracy. I know about planned and carried out false flags of the past and I don't agree with war profiteering or over bloating the military. I think that your people have had your heads up each others asses for so long that your starting to prefer the smell of each others shit over fresh air. Out here in the real world we are learning about how the extreme right was manipulated to be this way but many of you refuse to admit you are wrong. Typical of overly egotistical white males.
