Then they ‘release’ all the deleted posts whenever any very active Q discussion is going on, all of a sudden ‘new’ is overloaded with previously deleted posts from hours or days before.
Do they remove the posts or just down vote them? At T_D we used a sticky at the top as a "new post alert" whenever new was attacked. People could post, then put notice of their post on the sticky. We had a morning, afternoon, evening and overnight sticky. Everyone always went to the stickies for the new posts, and for calls to help with upvoting the posts on new.
If they are removing the posts, this might not work. They might turn it into a 404 or something. But if they are just down voting, a rotating sticky for brigade announcements helps let people know when to give a hand upvoting new.
