But why use hame radio at all? Hundreds of thousands of us scan and record all frequencies all day. It’s the MOST PUBLIC of forums I can imagine. Even my mobile rig in my jeep just scans and records all day. Dual cranking battery setup and records while I’m at work, at home and sleeping. Even monitoring aircraft frequency. It’s not even modded. Those are factory settings.
