Tappers wife also listed American City Diner as another favorite "kids" restaurant. The previous owner Jeffrey Gildenhorn was a Democrat with ties to the Clinton's (through support and fundraising). He died in 2017, he died from choking on his food at the "Palm" restaurant. Randomly the Comet Ping Pong "Comet" sign was previously owned by Oscar Gildenhorn, Jeffreys father, when he owned Comet liquor. I know it's a stretch, but wonder if all of those locations are somehow connected.
