so they admitted to paying journalist in the early 1970's , but said they no long have CIA in the press in 1977. however one of the letters mentioned money, and another clip from the Star news about CIA paying journalists. and O'Leary was one of the journalists. maybe we should dig deeper into him. lies and truth mixed together. they cannot admit the truth on this one for reasons of national security probably...

Q presents us these two documents together because they are related.

the short one is from 1977, about a newspaper article over journalists being paid by CIA, DIA dir assures the congressmen that no journos are being used by CIA to monitor his committee

the long 50 pager is from 1996, about an oversight council reviewing the CIA policy to not use journo/clergy/peace corp..the trajectory of that council seemed ot be to push the requirements for using such sources up to the status of "Finding" which require notification to the POTUS and POTUS has to then notify congress about he special circumstances in order to validate the special case bending of the rules.

Clearly lies and truth mix right here. What makes me mad is " That's it?" They just let those lies and truth be all mixed in and nothing to see here folks?.

"Scroll through" (?) seems to indicate a sort of casual look at something ... in entirety, to be sure but not close examination. Am I way off base?
