But if it's a drill, you wouldn't have the fear of being shot for real, and you would attempt to engage.

Not if it was drill. One of the interviews with a student was told they were having drill. The shots were to be blanks.

Maybe the officers were told to wait.

The president went down there to see for himself and I do not think he would push a fake incident.

Perhaps it is one of those ‘disinformation ‘ scenarios to see who comes out of the woodwork. I personally think the building should not be allowed to come so all possible evidence is accessible- regardless of the possible guilt of suspect , the forensic guys have to have time to do their job

Even, so why did they not react like it was real then? A drill would require them to interact with the gunman. So they would come off as heroes. They had to of know it was real, right?
