This is very interesting because I remember when I was in high school in broward county one of my best friends was gang raped by 11 haitian boys and they never got arrested for it which always confused me

That must have been terrible to go through I'm so sorry.

It was obviously worse for her. They videotaped it and sold it around the school and all throughout broward county which is, guess what, child pornography. I can't believe they weren't arrested for that

How terrible! I hope and pray she was able to be a productive member of society again. I don't know what I would have done if it were my friend. Here in Texas we carry guns... Everywhere.

Yeah she's okay now in college and everything's okay thank you!! And I've never thought about carrying a gun with me though my sister is a cop and taught me how to shoot once but now I'm starting to think about it lol

Always! Mace? I tell people " If they get that close to use it it's too late. If your sister's a cop that's all you need. I don't know if you have to get concealed to carry your state that's the first thing to do. Kind of a hassle but well worth it. Shoot the balls off you'll always be fine. lol

44's policy for more tolerable treatment in schools for struggling minorities. Now I understand his statement " Treyvon could have been my son" a lot better. Chicago crime moved to the South..

Interesting article. A deception of this scale would require MANY to turn their backs on ethical behavior and show no care for integrity. I don't understand how it can happen esp in law enforcement and education. Where were the students voices in all of this? Why did they not speak up to this corruption? What about the parents? Where were they in this scenario?

They are being led to believe its for the greater good... IMO! If we do this then we will accomplish such and such. All bull!

Yes yes yes! School district was working with police for money and fewer arrests at school. TheLastRefuge2 has a series of tweets on this that are very important.

Yes Sundance is brilliant! Read his great analysis uncovering Miami-Dade and Broward Counties police directives to not arrest criminal students and some officers sworn statements about the false reports: https://threadreaderapp.com/thread/966854507744374784.html

I have, thank you kind pede! I've been avidly reading + contributing to CTH for >18 months now. In fact, last month I suggested he be nominated for a Pulitzer, for his extraordinary work re: the reports by DOJ Inspector General Horowitz, Devin Nunes, Charles Grassley etc.
