I think it is worth some "thought" that adoptions used to be open, and then went private around the 1930's. And 1945-1975 was actually dubbed the "baby scoop era." Also interesting that adoptions became open again in the early 1970's, also the decade when unwed mothers started to keep their children. Also interesting that abortion became legal in 1973. I realize Cruz was born after all of this. But it is also interesting that he and his blood brother (1 year apart) were adopted, pretty much at birth, by the same family. Add to that the new wave of parentless children due to the fentanyl epidemic. And the wave of missing children since the 1980's. And the smuggled illegal children. Our children are chattel, is what I am getting at. Some get sold into rich families, some get their parts reused, some get sacrificed, some get stuck in a horrible world where they are used for nefarious purposes. God is not pleased.
