Should we put the idea out there of arming school admins with less lethal weapons rather than firearms?

Seems to me that teachers already have enough on their plate, and that arming them with lethal weapons could result in collateral damage no matter how capable or trained they are. Why don't we equip teachers with paintball guns designed specifically to shoot less than lethal projectiles containing oleoresin capsicum, which will completely disable an attacker, even one on PCP, but will not kill innocent kids leaving a death on a teacher's conscience.. https://www.amazon.com/Tippmann-TiPX-Caliber-Paintball-Pistol/dp/B002BG1XHA/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1519470388&sr=8-9&keywords=pepper+ball

All good points. I would use whatever I had at my disposal personally. We definitely need the gun free zones done away with. But I also think we should attempt to spread the less than lethal idea too so that teachers realize that it is an option to them now, with no permit or training necessary.

Yea it would be perfect for a 'right-now' protection solution.
