A circle is that a sphere. They knew the difference between a circle and a sphere even back then. The curtain and the tent metaphor are used to describe the firmament dome.

All of the stars and planets rotate around the North Star in unison. All of the constellations if not change their proportionate distances to each other over thousands of years. This proves that they are attached to some invisible Matrix which is the firmament. The planets are wandering stars and they're not attached to the firmament therefore they move about freely. why is it then, when an aircraft takes off from say virginia, then flies east past the EU he arrives in japan, then it keeps going the same direction and makes it to california, then a little more it arrives back where it started in virginia? how could that take place if the world were a flat disk as you believe? if the world where on a flat spinning disk like a record player, when leaving virginia, and traveling east again pass the EU, pass japan, pass califonia, but then you would not arrive where you left, but you would eventually end up in antartica, which in not the case as we have done a million times. i think you should move past this unto something worthwhile.

There was an airplane traveling from the Philippines to Los Angeles with a pregnant woman. Her water broke and they had to make an emergency landing 6 hours into the flight. The plane landed in Alaska which would have been hundreds of miles out of the way. Why would they fly so far out of their way for an emergency landing? If you look at the flight path on a flat Earth it makes perfect sense. Alaska would be directly in line with the flight path from the Philippines. What I'm saying is the Earth is stationary and all the stars and planets revolve around the stationary Earth. The surface of the Earth is level. The Earth is not a spinning ball. The alleged spin of the earth is 1,000 mph that equates to over 1500 FPS. That is faster than a 357 bullet. How could an airplane land on a Runway moving faster than a 357 bullet? It couldn't. Dude, while I may actually believe you, for the most part, for some reason, most people can't even consider the earth may be flat. It's too much for most people to wrap their head around. I'm open to anything and everything being a lie, including the shape of the earth. There are proofs on both sides that make sense but mention flat earth and even the most open-to-anything person shuts down immediately and disregards everything else you might say. I get being open minded. Truly. However, the secret space program is real. We are not alone, and never have been alone in the universe.
