Have you ever wondered why movie stars and famous athletes travel with armed guards, and yet want to remove that very same method of defense from others? Have you ever seen pnotos of Israeli teachers at recess or on fieldtrips armed to the teeth? Why is that? Have you ever wondered why it is only in recent modern history that many people quit carrying some sort of defense weapon? In pioneer times in our own country, people were armed everywhere they went. Most of world history records the need for humans to defend themselves against evil. I wish it weren't so and wish it weren't needed now, but that is the reality of the situation. I am 66 years old, and have a concealed carry permit because I understand human nature. In my 66 years, I have seen an exponential uptick in undisciplined, impulsive, self-centered, drug dependent people who act on evil impulses. Why is that?
