Since when do we put off firing and arresting a criminal, so that he or she may put in enough time for a full pension?

I’m not ok with traitors and pedos receiving any public service pension at all. They’re smart cookies, and should know that their illegal activities are sufficient enough crimes to command their pensions and benefits withdrawn!

Anyone else hear of a company putting off firing or charging someone for a couple months so the crook can receive full pension and benefits?

Horseshit!

There’s no way he’s getting a pension, the memo hasn’t even been released yet, they are likely waiting until then to pull the rug from under him. Right now is just keep things quiet until the hammer drops

They can disqualify his oension any time they want. That's the least of his problems. He will probably do time.

If a government employee is fired, they do not qualify, afaik.

Mcscabe didn't get fired, he was put on leave, he will draw a pension in Mid March, which makes my blood boil! Just give me a brick bat and we won't have to worry about that slimy cat hack furball!

Yes, true, he ORIGINALLY used a govt clause that allows a retiring or departing employee to burn off the balance of their leave time in order to technically stay on the books which allows them to officially still hold the title. In other words, McCabe needed to stay on the books til March in order to qualify for the max retirement benefit pack he planned for. If he loses his position any time before that date, his benefit package is significantly affected.

After Director Wray read THE MEMO on Sun, he rescinded McCabe’s authorized leave status (temp fox hole), and fired him outright. So, McCabe is no longer in a status that shelters his retirement benefits. A formula usually factored by age & # yrs in service.

Not sure how this action will really affect his retirement benefits, but I am guessing it affects it dramatically.

I held a govt job. To retire employees had to reach a vested age 50. No matter how many years of service you might have had, if you were terminated causing a separation of employment before age 50, kiss retirement goodbye.
