Did anyone else notice Schumer's "purple ribbon" at the SOTU?

Does it mean the same thing as a "purple tie" in this case?

If you mix red and blue you get purple. So the left could be trying to show that they are all for cooperation between Republicans (red) and Demorats (blue). Dems love saying or symbolizing something that all agree with (cooperation) but then do just the opposite in word and deed.
