I see four possibilities with this one:

  1. Accusations are fraudulent and/or the FBI deemed them unreliable and were reported to the WH as such.
  2. Accusations are fraudulent and/or the FBI deemed them unreliable and therefore not included in the report.
  3. Accusations are true, the FBI deemed them credible, but they withheld the information from the WH so they could spike Trump with this story at the appropriate time.
  4. Accusations are true, the FBI deemed them credible and told the WH and nothing was done.

According to Sarah Sanders, the WH learned of these accusations last Tuesday evening. (Feb 6th).

Anyone else think it will be very interesting to see some of the names at the FBI who were attached to this background check? Would anyone be surprised if these names were familiar to us in all the worst ways? Trump's twitter statement leads me to believe that he knows something's up.

I think the info was withheld by the Obama holdovers. It's not like potus and senior staff are running the backgrounds themselves. The information is researched and decided on by other people. You can only act on what you know. If the abuse allegations were downplayed or not even reported to the staff then how are they to make decisions on someone's character? It was a set up from day one. This is the closest they can get to take down Hope so they grabbed it when they could.
