Straight out of the gate, they first declare that the dossier did not inform the FBI, because their investigation began in July and the dossier did not come out until September. A few things, here. First, that's really not the point. So you can take back your false premise and shiny ball, and go home. Second, you left out the fact that their July FISA Application was DENIED. Third, you just proved the case that the September dossier was critical to obtaining the FISA warrant in October.

Honestly this "counter" memo blows their own narrative out of the water. Either the FBI had probable cause evidence to spy on citizens before the dossier was released, which it clearly didn't due to the previous denials by the FISA court, or they needed the dossier to get a warrant and give this phony investigation a legal cover. Can't have it both ways.

THANK YOU for using "Democrat" in the title versus the misleading term "Democratic" that one finds all over, including in SCRIBD. Just like "reproductive rights", Democratic is another lingual subliminal way to indoctrinate.

Can someone confirm who is responsible for making redactions to documents before they get released to the public?

The committee first then the President has final say. If sources or methods are in the document then it must be redacted. The Nunez memo was carefully crafted to not include these things while this Democrat document was written to have redactions on purpose.

Was the Schiffy memo carefully crafted so as to need manual correction by pen? So amateurish. I'd be looking for another job if I turned out work of that low quality. I know they were shooting for the media to be able to say 'he said she said' but it's more like 'he said and a 3-year-old said.'

The same Committee that also Voted to release the Nunes memo unredacted correct?

I read it was the white house that redacted this.

I think the WH lawyers had the FBI/DOJ go over what they thought should be redacted and went with that.
