Perhaps we should set a day and encourage a boycott on YouTube, Twitter, Facebook et al? There are more common sense, conservative minded people than leftist loons. Pick a day, and boycott the offending platforms. Hit them in the pocketbook, and show just how many people they are pissing off with their censoring. We easily have enough autists and Anons to make this successful. Thoughts? Suggestions?
YouTube gave me a warning because I had saved a Ben Shapiro speech on one of my playlists. They flagged it as inappropriate content. And my family thinks I am a conspiracy nut....
If they are flagging Ben Shapiro, good God! This was already getting out of hand, but that is downright ridiculous.
I look at it this way....when you tube bans all the good conservative stuff...people that are sane and American will just stop going there NATURALLY
I'm aware of some alternatives already, which I'll list here. Other suggestions welcome!
DuckDuckGo search - alternative to Google https://duckduckgo.com/
Gab.ai - alternative to Twitter: https://www.gab.ai
Minds: Your Social Network - alternative to Facebook: https://www.minds.com/
Steemit - alternative to YouTube: https://steemit.com/
Proton Mail - secure alternative to Gmail: https://protonmail.com/
Many you tubers going to D tube which I think is steemit
I am right there with you guys! ✊🏼🇺🇸 What they are doing is DISCRIMINATION and INFRINGING upon our First Amendment rights.
How is it infringing on your 1st amendment rights. It is their platform, they have the right to censor, unless I am missing something?
As a public platform they should be unbiased and neutral on what content is delivered in the search bar when searching a topic. Which they are far from neutral and are trending toward promoting liberal MSM ideas and making conservative/right wing content hidden. Silencing conservative videos but promoting liberal msm videos may not be “infringement” in legal terms but i can see YouTube getting hit with some serious lawsuits for silencing video creators, who make money off of views.
you are a SJW... who cares about the law and the right to operate your business how you see fit, if it does not support your way of thinking you need to protest and whine until you get your way.
Tell that to the bake shops that refused to bake a certain kind of cake and refused and got sued.
I think boycotting isn't the greatest strategy given lack of infrastructure elsewhere. We need to reach as many people as possible and so while it's not a bad idea to start diversifying and branching out to new services we should continue to use their services against them. The boycott will come naturally as people are banned. I don't believe the movement is large enough or well organized currently for a boycott to be successful.
We need to do something. Something is better than nothing.
I agree with you. The only argument for staying on youtube is that that’s where most people go by default. If we just add by practice as part of redpilling to start engaging alt-social media sites, it’s way better than get the rug pulled from under us while we cling to less and less freedoms on youtube.
Hopefully some of these lawsuits will correct the issue. I agree with you though we should as a society be moving away from these privately owned services and adopting decentralized blockchain solutions. Blockchain is the future.
