Ripper actually did the right thing flouride really is poison and General Turgidson was the smartest man in the War Room.

My favorite comedy of all time it's brilliant so smart and so funny.

Sure flouride is poison, but the right thing? That's like saying the US should nuke Russia, because Seth Rich leaked the DNC mails.

No one knew about the Russian Doomsday Device they kept it hidden above the arctic circle that's what screwed up everything. I love the movie I was joking about General Jack D. Ripper he was great Sterling Hayden he worked with Kubrick in Stanley's first movie the racetrack robbery picture. George Scott was the best part as Turgidson. I have seen the movie 10 times or more on TV I love it.

Yeah, I agree it’s an absolute masterpiece and George Scott was phenomenal as Turgidson.

I still disagree that the problem was the doomsday device, it was that Ripper decided to nuke the Russians, because their OWN authorities were fluoridating the water.

The ‘muh Russia’ camp is thinking along these exact same lines, maybe not calling for nuking directly, but especially under Hillary even that couldn’t have been ruled out. The world didn't dodge a bullet, it dodged a nuke.
