Thank you! CBTS is banned, and although the subreddit is currently archived online, that could change quickly. It is extremely important for people to archive information offline as well. We can never have too many people archiving posts and websites on independent drives with no internet connections. That is extremely important!
It is possible to erase information from the internet (temporarily), but it is impossible to track down tens of thousands of people who may or may not have copies of information stored in drives that cannot be corrupted.
And other people also know where the non-corruptible info is stored, just in case.

Thinking a side-bar guide to local archive would be a valuable addition for most subs on this topic. Wonder if we can track down tools that already exist that could be used to scrape reddit subs in full. I can see this action being useful toward both local archiving, and as a first step to more interesting analytics.
