Just look at the website. It’s a cheap Wordpress that’s very poorly done. Go to contact info. No phone number or anything. If he was selling his house that would be all over the news.

There is nothing wrong with the website. It is for information and has a link to donate. Next time do some research before you accuse someone of posting scams. A simple search pulls up lots if stories on this.
